Do you have a “bucket list?” Are you planning to make one? If you have one, what’s on it? The Big Bucket List Book by author Gin Sander is helping people to turn their bucket lists into a reality. In the book, she outlines ways in which you can fulfill some of these life experiences and turn your bucket lists into a well-lived life in 2016 and beyond.
One of the chapters “Thrill Your Taste Buds” is especially poignant for me (and I’m sure for my readers) in which Sander lists a few things you can do to challenge the inner foodie. Although some of the ideas are not all that appealing to me, I get the gist and can find things that are better suited to me and my particular interests. But those of you who might be wine lovers, or are particularly fond of a hands-on experience might find the idea of learning the art of fermentation fascinating.
The chapter “Make Your Mark” gives you ideas on how to “Develop Your Own Line of Food” to “Driving a Stick Shift”, something I still haven’t mastered to date.
This isn’t just a book for foodies, there is an array for other interests such as the arts and sports. Some require more dedication than others, such as going NASCAR driving, but then, there’s something as simple as taking art lessons, learning a new instrument, to writing a journal, all of which is easily accessible regardless of where you might live.
The Big Bucket List Book isn’t so much a list of specific things you should put on your list, but rather, many ideas to help you create your own list.
