spiked coffee at your fingertips

In my younger days, it was not unusual for people to enjoy a spiked coffee as a nightcap. It has been quite some time since I’ve last had an Irish Coffee, or Hot Toddy, because it would mean having to make the coffee, and then get the correct amount of alcohol to create a balanced beverage.

But now, there is no need for all the fuss. Cask & Kettle, hard coffee and cider cocktails in a pod is super easy to use whether you have a k-pod brewing system or not. These pods come in flavors such as Irish Coffee, Mint Patty, Hot Blonde, or Mexican Coffee, as well as Spiked Cider. Each pod contains liquid distilled spirits, coffee, and naturally crafted flavors. If you don’t have a brewing system, you can easily use this by pouring into a cup of hot water, and voila, it’s ready for sipping.

My favorites are the Mexican Coffee and the Irish Coffee. The latter brings back so many memories of childhood when my mother would drink one after a meal and allow me a few sips. If you prefer a cold beverage – like I often do – just pour over ice! There are so many ways to enjoy these innovative creations. What’s your inspiration?

About Me

This blog is a journal of mostly my eating adventures, but also, other things I'm passionate about, including travel, the arts, and also, necessities to complete my life. Centered predominantly in and around Orange County, CA, some will extend to Los Angeles, San Diego and beyond. I am constantly searching for delicious food to eat and fun things to do, nothing is out of bounds. Sometimes it doesn't end well, but I can definitely say, it will always be an interesting journey.
