My first experience with noosa yoghurt is when I return from Australia craving the yogurt I taste there. Needless to say, when I see noosa yoghurt on the store shelves, I decide to give it a try — Noosa is located in Queensland on the east coast of Australia — hoping to rediscover the delicious yogurts I eat in Australia.
Fast forward two years and noosa yoghurt is still one of my favorites. Recently, I find out they have launched a new line of “sweet heat” flavors just in time for Hot and Spicy Food Day on August 19th.
The yogurts themselves are perfect on their own or incorporate them into your meals.
There are six new flavors:
- Mango Sweet Chili
- Raspberry Habanero
- Blackberry Serrano
- Pineapple Jalapeño
- Bhakti Chai
- Mexican Chocolat
The Bhakti Chai and Mexican Chocolat are perfect on their own, possessing an authentic flavor but never overpowering the natural yogurt.
I’ve used the Mango Sweet Chili in a smoothie which adds a little hint of heat on the palate. These yogurts pairs well with crackers or pita chips and are perfect to serve as a dip when friends come over. You can find these flavors by visiting here.
Right now, I’m offering one lucky reader the opportunity to try these courtesy of noosa. Leave a comment and tell me why you would like to WIN a selection of these new sweet heat yoghurts and how you will eat them. Entries close on Friday, August 19th, 2016.

I love food with a kick and I’ve never tried spicy yogurt. Maybe eat it with crisp chips or top off a shawarma sandwich.

My daughter loves yogurt and it’d be fun to introduce her to new flavors with these! And I wouldn’t mind trying them too 🙂

That is an unusual combination. A lot of companies are starting to add spice to their products that you otherwise would not expect. Chocolate is a common one, but yogurt isn’t one I have seen until now. We always have several bottles of hot sauces in our fridge, so we are a spicy family. I would love to try this.

OMG, these sound amazing. Me & my son love yogurt and having a totally different style/variety would be wonderful. Esp. for my son he loves spicy foods, so this would be a perfect fit. Plus it would be great change from the same ole’ flavors we usually eat. I guess we will just straight up eat them, use them as a dip, or even add them to other recipes. Thx for this chance to win.
