Easy holiday gifting with Bokksu

December 10, 2018 Mad Hungry Woman Leave a Comment

I received my Bokksu Japanese snacks over the weekend, and was super excited to see what was inside.

I love the idea of receiving monthly surprises of different things in the mail. I’ve tried things ranging from wine, to make-up and skincare, to snacks. This week, I received my box of Bokksu Japanese snacks!

Bokksu, a play-on the word “box” in Japanese pronunciation, is a beautiful presentation with selections curated each month for the snacker in you. I’ve subscribed to various snack boxes, and this one is the prettiest of all.

The December box includes a variety of sweet and savory options, I’m a huge fan of rice crackers, and there are several included in the box: Sakebushimaru Salmon Senbei (salmon rice crackers), Tomoriko Corn Sticks, and Potato Butter Rice Crackers.

I also love how a pamphlet of descriptions is included in the box, which describes where in Japan each snack comes from, as well as potential allergens each snack may pose. The Bokksu boxes range from $25 to $39 and make perfect holiday gifts for your friends and family.

About Me

This blog is a journal of mostly my eating adventures, but also, other things I'm passionate about, including travel, the arts, and also, necessities to complete my life. Centered predominantly in and around Orange County, CA, some will extend to Los Angeles, San Diego and beyond. I am constantly searching for delicious food to eat and fun things to do, nothing is out of bounds. Sometimes it doesn't end well, but I can definitely say, it will always be an interesting journey.
