dim sum in the city

Nothing screams “HONG KONG” better than a dim sum lunch with friends. And this is exactly what happened a week into my trip with a dim sum lunch at Budaoweng restaurant in Times Square, Causeway Bay. I was a bit confused as to why we were going to a hotpot restaurant to have dim sum, […]

Hong Kong style fast food

September 1, 2011 Mad Hungry Woman Leave a Comment

I was craving some “fast food” Hong Kong style and my brother and I stopped by Maxim’s to get some cha siu (barbecue pork) and my favorite rice plate of soy sauce chicken and braised octopus over steamed rice. There is a Maxim’s pretty much anywhere you go in Hong Kong. You can dine in […]

About Me

This blog is a journal of mostly my eating adventures, but also, other things I'm passionate about, including travel, the arts, and also, necessities to complete my life. Centered predominantly in and around Orange County, CA, some will extend to Los Angeles, San Diego and beyond. I am constantly searching for delicious food to eat and fun things to do, nothing is out of bounds. Sometimes it doesn't end well, but I can definitely say, it will always be an interesting journey.
