Hutong offers a setting equal to none

Hong Kong reminds me of Vegas. It is rapidly changing and the old is knocked down to make way for the new. Unlike Singapore, a lot of the old buildings here are no longer visible, and those which remain are not restored and kept up to reflect nostalgia unless they are main tourist attractions and […]

A 40+ year institution that is American Peking

August 16, 2011 Mad Hungry Woman 1 Comment

A few weeks before I arrived in Hong Kong, I had already told my friends I wanted to eat Peking duck. It was not an option. The place we’ve always gone for Peking duck is American Peking, a restaurant which has been around for as long as I can remember. When I was in high […]

Day 3 — enough is enough

About Me

This blog is a journal of mostly my eating adventures, but also, other things I'm passionate about, including travel, the arts, and also, necessities to complete my life. Centered predominantly in and around Orange County, CA, some will extend to Los Angeles, San Diego and beyond. I am constantly searching for delicious food to eat and fun things to do, nothing is out of bounds. Sometimes it doesn't end well, but I can definitely say, it will always be an interesting journey.
