>Layer Cake Bakery — not very exciting sweets

>Desserts are not my thing… never have, never will. This bakery seems quite popular with some folks. I’ve been there several times to try their homemade creations. I’ve even ordered a birthday cake specially for my grandma, but sadly, it was not very good. The cake was pricey ($45) and we ended up tossing it because no one wanted to eat it because it was dry — very dry! Other items I’ve tried are bread pudding, quiche, macarons, various cookies, apple pie — everything was so-so. I guess that’s why I haven’t been back.
