I would take my boyfriend because we usually just spend NYE on the couch! It would be nice to go out for once! We would hit up the food trucks and then check out the DJ to do some dancing (to burn off the calories from the food trucks).

Lived in Costa Mesa for little over 7 years and have never been to the New Years Eve Block Party. I’d love to be able to bring my girlfreind of over 16 years to have fun enjoying the music, the rides, the gaming, and who knows maybe ask her to be with me forever! She is the most amazing girl to me, been a hard year for me and she is always there to support me in every way. We live in walking distance and this would be the absolute perfect ending of 2012 and beginning of 2013!

Cool Blog : ) We are foodies too, we love trying new places. I would recommend Marios in HB at the 5 points plaza, been going there for 20+ years & the food has not changed and reasonably priced! I would take my husband Mark to the OC Fair New Years Block Party-

I will be bringing my husband who I just got married to this October. Perhaps a few friends if they are down to come along. We’re both broke as hell, unemployed, living at my parent’s house, have student loans up the ass, (thanks Art Institute) and expecting to get a larger bill when we send my Spanish husband’s paperwork for him to be an official U.S. resident.

As a newly wed couple who can’t even afford to buy gifts for Christmas, help a sista out.

This economy has scattered my friends to the four winds. Some moved upstate, some south, and some out of the area entirely. I would like the tickets because it would put me one step closer to reuniting the old gang at a place we love to go anyway. That would be a great way to start the new year and say goodbye to the old one that held so many challenges for so many.

I’ll be taking my best friend Mike. He’s been applying to grad schools nonstop, so this would be a good break for him. this will also be a good break for me, taking 18 units this semester has exhausted me, I definitely need a good night of partying and all around fun.
Definitely looking forward to the different food trucks and the cover bands. I have yet to try some of the food trucks that will be there, including White Rabbit which I hear is soooo delicious. There are too many good cover bands. I’m not sure which stages I’ll want to visit and at what times.
I know Mike will look forward to the casino games. Vegas in Orange County sounds like the perfect New Year celebration.

I would bring my pookie bear, my little cub, and hit up cover bands, the demolition derby and of course, get our gruuub ooon at the food trucks. At the stroke of midnight, I would kiss her passionately while the Queen cover band plays in the background.

There will be so much to do . . . . . great food and music . . . . . .makes it hard to pick, but I am most looking forward to bringing in the New Year (2013), with my honey, after enjoying the NYE Bash Demolition Derby!
