Poke-Ria: a deliciously unique poke concept

March 9, 2016 Mad Hungry Woman 2 Comments

The poke craze has seen poke joints popping up like weeds. Of course, some are better than others, however, they’re all Hawaiian and/or Japanese inspired – that is, until NOW.

Poke-Ria is not your typical poke place. Here, you can opt for Peruvian style ceviche in your bowl, complete with aji amarillo and rocoto sauce.

I stopped by recently with my son – a Peruvian style ceviche fiend – to try the offerings. For those of you who want to stick to the “traditional” poke, you are welcome to do so.

For us, it is the Peruvian ceviche all the way! My son is constantly bugging me about going to Peruvian, but all he wants is ceviche, and I end up having to order an entire meal just so he can get some ceviche. Well, that is no more! Now, he can go to Poke-Ria and get his ceviche fix on any time he’s hankering for some!
