A friend gifted me a selection of Petit Pot recently. These individual jars of pot de crème come in five delicious flavors: Dark Chocolate, Vanilla, Salted Caramel, Lemon Curd and Strawberry. My favorites are the latter three!
I am so enamored by them I do some digging and find that the founders, Max (a pastry chef) and Pierre (a food engineer), met in San Francisco. When they found out they both grew up in Southern France and both enjoyed the sweeter things in life, it was fated that they were brought together to make something delicious.
Blending their knowledge of French pastry practice with modern California cuisine, they produced Petit Pot and Petit Box, authentic French desserts that they grew up eating. Petit Pot are gluten free and organic. From the wholesome ingredients to the reusable jars and packaging, great thought has been put into making these desserts as sustainable as they are delicious.
