Pieology’s new southwestern pies + giveaway

June 1, 2016 Mad Hungry Woman 13 Comments

There are so many build-it-yourself pizza places cropping up these days, but one of my favorites remains to be Pieology. Recently, I tried two new signature pizzas inspired by the Southwest, and are available through July 30th.

The Chicken Chile Verde and the Spicy Southwest pizza feature flavorful new ingredients like enchilada sauce, diced mild green chiles, cheddar cheese and sour cream which are also available to be added to your own concoctions.

The two new Sizzling Southwest pizzas are available for the same price as Pieology’s lineup of seven signature pies. Additionally, like all signature pies at Pieology, you can order as is or customize as you wish, choosing from more than 40 ingredients, including whole wheat and gluten free crust

These two new signature pizzas are available until July 30th.

Spicy Southwest: White Crust, olive oil, red enchilada sauce, mozzarella, cheddar, roasted red peppers, jalapenos, cilantro, all natural chicken, topped with optional red sour cream after bake.

Chicken Chile Verde: White Crust, olive oil, green enchilada sauce, mozzarella, roasted red peppers, diced mild green chile and cilantro, topped with optional green sour cream after bake.

The pizzas are reminiscent of flavors you get from a burrito or taco. I especially enjoy the chicken chile verde with tomatillo sauce.

I have some pizza vouchers (only valid at Irvine Spectrum store) to give away. Please leave a comment stating why you would like to win, by telling me what your favorite pizza is, and/or toppings when it comes to pizza!

YUM! Can’t wait to go here! Start the day with a good breakfast pizza (potatoes, bacon and topped with eggs), a little lunch pizza (vegetarian with peppers, onion, tomatoes, mushroom) and bring on the meat lovers for dinner (sausage, pepperoni, ham, onions). Pizza all day, every day, can’t get enough!

I like the white sauce in my pie because it doesn’t taste as acidic and these 2 different takes on tradiontional pizza would be great for me to try 😉

My daughter can get her own pizza and we can get our own. We don’t need to fight over toppings and everyone is happy.

I would love to get those vouchers because none of us can agree on pizza toppings. Pieology makes it easy for us to get what we want without compromise. For me, it’s all about gorgonzola, goat cheese and arugula with balsamic. Flavorful meats are good, but pepperoni is borrrrring.
