Luna Grill opens newest location in Cerritos + giveaway

August 3, 2016 Mad Hungry Woman 21 Comments

If you haven’t heard of Luna Grill, or dined at one, then you’ve been living under a rock! The San Diego-based Mediterranean fast casual concept has just opened its 25th location — there are locations throughout southern California and Dallas, Texas — the first in Cerritos.

My son and I absolutely love Luna Grill. In fact, it is one of his favorite fast casual concepts when he’s hanging out with friends. His go-to-order ranges from the Gyro Wrap, the Mezze Sampler Platter, to Ground Sirloin Plate. As for me? I always end up with the Cornish Hen on the Bone because it is super succulent and I am always amazed at how generous the portions are.

On the menu, you’ll find signature kabob plates, gourmet salads, appetizers including hummus and falafel, wraps, desserts, craft beer and wine at Luna Grill. The best part? They don’t make you eat with plastic utensils. Everything is served on crockery and proper silverware is provided giving you an elevated dining experience to other fast casual concepts.

Luna Grill was founded in 2004 and If you’ve still never been to one, now is the time to visit their newest location in Cerritos located at 11261 183rd Street, Cerritos, CA 90703. For more information on Luna Grill, please visit their website by clicking here.

I have two $50 giftcards, courtesy of Luna Grill, to give away to two lucky readers. To enter, please leave a comment and share something about Luna Grill you’ve experienced, or why you’d like to visit. Entries close on Friday, August 12th, 2016.

Thank you for this post! I’ve been searching for a great Mediterranean restaurant and this one looks promising and a short drive away from my area! I can’t wait to go support this new restaurant and enjoy the Mediterranean flavors!

PS: Loved it when you were doing posts about restaurants in Long Beach, too 🙂

I was skeptical about Luna Grill at first because it looked like a chain, but after having tried it, I was really impressed and I keep coming back for well priced and consistent kebabs!

I have never tried Luna Grill and seeing you’re posting about Cornish hen made me smile and made me want to try Luna Grill. It’s a item I remember my grandmother always picked up when we took her grocery shopping.

I love Luna Grill because it’s fresh and tasty and almost the entire menu is gluten free which works for me! I’ve only been there once and would love to try the new Irvine Spectrum location. Hope to bump into you and your son there sometime ?

I would love to go there! My girlfriend and I are big hummus fans and it would be nice to try something a little different and out of our usual eat out box. Definitely putting on my bookmark Yelp list!
