perfect gifts for the holidays from Terlato Kitchen

November 3, 2016 Mad Hungry Woman 1 Comment

Launched in 2015 by John Terlato, vintner and Vice Chairman of Terlato Wine Group, Terlato Kitchen is John’s way of sharing some family recipes with those who appreciate delicious foods. I’ve had the opportunity to try many of Terlato Kitchen’s artisanal food products which represent tried-and-true Terlato family favorites including its Handcrafted Sauce Sampler featuring the brand’s four flagship sauces:

Pomodoro Sauce – vine-ripened San Marzano tomatoes, imported olive oil and a touch of basil
Vodka Sauce – a creamy tomato sauce that every tomato sauce lover knows and enjoys
Arrabbiata Sauce – a tangy pasta sauce made with red chili flakes for a mild spicy kick
Puttanesca Sauce – a bright sauce made with Kalamata olives and whole capers

I’ve tried the Arrabbiata and Vodka sauces, both reflecting home-made flavors like the ones I prepare at home slaving over the stove for hours. The Puttanesca sauce is new, and I look forward to trying this soon. The simple ingredients and fresh flavor make this gift set the perfect treat for the foodies in your life this holiday season.

The other wonderful item is the Biscotti Tower. Unlike traditional biscotti, these Tart Cherry & Pistachio Soft Biscotti are soft and chewy and give your friends and family that fresh out of the oven feel — like you made them — when you warm them in the oven before serving (but are also delicious straight from the box). These unique biscotti were a 2016 Specialty Food Association sofi finalist in the Outstanding Cookies, Brownies, Cakes and Pies category.

These scrumptious biscotti are so addicting, and I can’t stop eating them once I start.

If you’re looking for something delicious as gifts this holiday season, check out the variety of deliciousness at Terlato Kitchen and have the goodies shipped directly to your friends and family!

Yes, their biscotti should be illegal , they are so good. They should have somebody answering the phone. I am trying to place an order for months but it’s always a recording and I like to speak with a PERSON. Lacking in business efficiency! Their loss.

About Me

This blog is a journal of mostly my eating adventures, but also, other things I'm passionate about, including travel, the arts, and also, necessities to complete my life. Centered predominantly in and around Orange County, CA, some will extend to Los Angeles, San Diego and beyond. I am constantly searching for delicious food to eat and fun things to do, nothing is out of bounds. Sometimes it doesn't end well, but I can definitely say, it will always be an interesting journey.
