quick and easy Asian-inspired bowls + giveaway

May 1, 2018 Mad Hungry Woman 11 Comments

I recently tried some Asian-inspired bowls by Blount Fine Foods that are quick and easy when you’re looking for something to eat, but don’t have much time to cook something from scratch.

Blount Fine Foods recently launched some Asian-inspired Blount Bowls nationwide. There are a couple of gluten free flavors and one vegan/vegetarian, while the chicken used in the bowls are raised without antibiotics. The bowls are ready to eat in three minutes, and is conveniently packaged so you can heat in the bowl it comes in.

The bowls are available in the fresh deli section of select retailers across the country, and costs under $6.

The Coconut Chicken & Noodle Bowl is my favorite, with good flavors. I added some fresh chiles in fish sauce (prik nam pla) to size it up a bit.

The Chicken Ramen Noodle, while not exactly ramen, suffices when you’re looking for something quick and satisfying. I added some fresh cilantro to my bowl.

There are two gluten-free bowls as well: Hibachi Chicken & Rice…

… as well as Vegetable & Rice.

This week, one of my readers will have the opportunity to WIN some of these new Blount bowls to try at home. Please leave a comment with your FULL name and tell me which of the bowls you’re most excited to try and why. Entries close on Sunday, May 13th, 2018.

About Me

This blog is a journal of mostly my eating adventures, but also, other things I'm passionate about, including travel, the arts, and also, necessities to complete my life. Centered predominantly in and around Orange County, CA, some will extend to Los Angeles, San Diego and beyond. I am constantly searching for delicious food to eat and fun things to do, nothing is out of bounds. Sometimes it doesn't end well, but I can definitely say, it will always be an interesting journey.
