The Chippy Fish and Chips — stellar fare

May 5, 2011 Mad Hungry Woman 3 Comments

I’ve eaten fish and chips too many times to count. I’ve eaten it on four continents, so to say I know my fish and chips is an understatement. I’ve eaten it in Britain where it originated from, at little take-out shops and in Australia where it was brought there by the Brits. I’ve had it […]

In celebration of National Cookie Week

May 4, 2011 Mad Hungry Woman 4 Comments

A wild and crazy idea concocted by Michael Munoz of The Gay Gourmet blog, this week marks the launch of National Cookie Week (May 2nd to May 8th). Michael contacted me via Twitter and asked if I would be interested in participating and I jumped at this fabulous idea! The week kicked off with Bacon […]

Prix fixe at Charlie Palmer

April 29, 2011 Mad Hungry Woman 5 Comments

Tucked away on a hidden road in La Jolla, The Marine Room sits right on the water’s edge affording those who are lucky enough to dine here, the luxurious view of the ocean’s horizon. We arrive just as the sun is making its way back into the horizon, the orange hues like a painter’s palette […]

About Me

This blog is a journal of mostly my eating adventures, but also, other things I'm passionate about, including travel, the arts, and also, necessities to complete my life. Centered predominantly in and around Orange County, CA, some will extend to Los Angeles, San Diego and beyond. I am constantly searching for delicious food to eat and fun things to do, nothing is out of bounds. Sometimes it doesn't end well, but I can definitely say, it will always be an interesting journey.
