>Albatros — any time day or night

January 13, 2009 Mad Hungry Woman 2 Comments

>If you ever find yourself hungry in the middle of the night, this is a good as any choice to grab something to eat. Albatros is opened 24hrs, 7 days a week and although they are often quite slow with your order, the food is okay when you don’t really have anything else to choose from. I usually get the fish taco — they’re really generous with the piece of fish they put into your taco — a whole piece of breaded fish mind you. Just keep in mind that the tacos here are huge, not those little ones you get off a taco truck. I don’t particularly like their meat tacos as the meat is generally pretty grisly and I’m not into eating gristle. My friends usually get the breakfast burrrito but I’m not into eggs in my Mexican food all rolled up, but they swear that the chorizo is excellent. I like their green sauce here — very flavorful, but not much heat.

    >Yep. Sounds very similar to my review (and I went based on your old one). Just alright. Probably good middle of the night food for the young crowd, etc.

About Me

This blog is a journal of mostly my eating adventures, but also, other things I'm passionate about, including travel, the arts, and also, necessities to complete my life. Centered predominantly in and around Orange County, CA, some will extend to Los Angeles, San Diego and beyond. I am constantly searching for delicious food to eat and fun things to do, nothing is out of bounds. Sometimes it doesn't end well, but I can definitely say, it will always be an interesting journey.
