Rubio’s Coastal Grill + giveaway

March 8, 2017 Mad Hungry Woman 11 Comments

It’s that time of year again when those of you who are observing Lent this year will be looking for seafood options on Fridays. Rubio’s Coastal Grill’s co-founder Ralph Rubio and his culinary team has created and developed the Panko-Crusted Crispy Shrimp Two Taco Plate and Burrito for this purpose.

The Panko-Crusted Crispy Shrimp dishes feature sustainable shrimp crusted with panko-bread crumbs complemented with Rubio’s chef-crafted chile aioli sauce, creating the combination of sweet and spicy flavors and crispy texture in every bite.

The Panko-Crusted Crispy Shrimp Two Taco Plate features crispy shrimp placed atop warm stone-ground corn tortillas topped with chile aioli sauce, salsa verde, crunchy fresh cabbage, and cilantro and onion mix, and is served with no-fried™ pinto beans and sea-salted tortilla chips. The Panko-Crusted Crispy Shrimp Burrito wraps the crispy shrimp, chile aioli sauce, salsa verde, citrus rice, cabbage, and cilantro and onion mix in a toasted flour tortilla.

Right now, I have some $10 meal vouchers for Rubio’s Coastal Grill for you to WIN. Please leave your full name and tell me why you should win. Entries close on Sunday, March 19th, 2017.

I love Rubio’s and there’s one right next to my office. Great food, and their Chicken Tortilla Soup is perfect on rainy days!

I don’t eat meat on any Fridays, or any days for that matter, and Rubio’s has some great vegan and vegetarian options year round!

Rubios is my all time favorite Mexican place. They never fail to please. I like the ones in Huntington Beach (2) and also the one in Seal Beach. I like all of their salsas and garnishes.
