Sessions West Coast Deli opens in Irvine + giveaway

April 20, 2018 Mad Hungry Woman 22 Comments

The long-awaited opening of Sessions West Coast Deli at the revamped Woodbridge Village Center happened this week. The fast casual eatery has already made its mark in Newport Beach, and Huntington Beach, with its insanely delicious sandwiches, and will undoubtedly be a huge hit here.

There is ample outdoor seating overlooking the lake. You can bring your kids while hanging out with your friends. The kids can run around, while you enjoy a glass of beer or wine.

This location is also offering added menu items to its already existing array of the sandwiches. Here’s what you can expect when you visit Sessions, Irvine.

From the “Let’s Get Started” section, highlights include Chicken & Donuts ($11) served in a cone with chicken tenders and cinnamon doughnut holes, topped with powdered sugar, served with Vermont maple syrup and spicy BBQ sauce.

Papas con Puerco ($11) is skinny fries topped with BBQ pork, pickled onions, sharp Cheddar, jalapeno, cilantro, aged Parmesan, and Sessions’ X special sauce. This is a meal in itself!

I always love something sour to cleanse the palate, or to cut some of the heaviness of a meal. Pot O’ Pickles ($6) is perfect for this. Spicy picked carrots, jalapeno, cucumber, cauliflower and green beans are the ideal things to nibble on in between bites of your meal.

I am a huge fan of chicken wings, so naturally, Sweet Chili Garlic Wings ($10) drew me in right away. These crispy wings are tossed in Sessions’ famous bang sauce and are finger lickin’ good.

Under “Burgers” you will most definitely want to try The Perfect Burger ($11) which sees a freshly baked poppy seed hard roll stuffed with a signature Angus patty, pepper Jack cheese, lettuce, pickle, onions, marinated tomato, and the house X special sauce. It is a stellar offering for those wanting to sink their teeth into a juicy burger.

If you’re not looking for meaty options, then Veggie Banh Mi ($11) might just be tickling your fancy. This item listed under the “Chef’s Selection” is a roll stuffed with sweet chile Brussels sprouts, pickled onions, shredded carrot, jalapeno, cucumber, sriracha aioli, and cilantro. It is a full-bodied sandwich with popping flavors that will please even the pickiest carnivore.

I was a little skeptical about Taco Belle ($11) but this salad is actually REALLY good. Dotted with soyrizo, red onion, tomato, Peruvian pepper, avocado, pico de gallo, all tossed in an adobo buttermilk dressing, this healthy rendition of Taco Bell flavors is pretty amazing. You’ll just have to try it for yourself.

Bring your family, your friends, and hang out for a while. Sessions is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner!

This week, I have a $25 giftcard to Sessions, as well as a Sessions tumbler to give away. The tumbler gets you $1 coffee refills for the whole of 2018! Leave a comment with your full name by Monday, April 30, 2018 for a chance to WIN.
