Bruxie, home of The Original Fried Chicken & Waffle Sandwich, has launched two new sandwiches utilizing soft, buttery Portuguese buns.
The Boss, features Bruxie’s signature fried chicken with shredded romaine, tomato, pickles and Bruxie sauce. If you’ve had the waffle sandwich before, you’ll know how tasty the chicken is. The new buns are soft, buttery and light, which do not overpower the chicken whatsoever. This is the classic chicken sandwich, and perfect for everyone.
If you’re a spice fiend like me, you’ll love El Jefe, featuring fried chicken, carnita-spice rub, cabbage-jalapeno slaw, chipotle mayo and pickled red onions. It is my favorite, and the best part is, it is offered all day long! Craving a chicken sammie for breakfast? No problem! Head on over to Bruxie and you can grab one!
This week, I’m giving away two $25 giftcards to Bruxie so you can go try them out for yourself. Leave a comment and tell me which of these sandwiches you’d like to try and why. Entries close Sunday July 15th, 2018.

I’m all for the boss! Spicy can be for my hubby!
El Jefe looks pretty interesting to try because I wonder what flavors it would be.
El Jefe because I wonder what the flavor will be like, and how spicy it is
Always down for spicy, so El Jefe will definitely hit the spot, plus there’s pickled onions 🙂
El Jefe would be my choice. just divine. yum,
The Boss looks really delicious.
Without a doubt, it would have to be the El Jefe. What is there NOT to like about this sandwich? On a side note, what I find ironic is El Jefe translates to “The Boss” in Spanish. I look forward to trying both at some point!
