Thunderking Coffee Bar at SOCIAL

October 2, 2017 Mad Hungry Woman Leave a Comment

Thunderking Coffee Bar at Social, in Costa Mesa has been open for several months now, and after many visits, I’ve pretty much tried almost every single item on their breakfast/brunch menu. Coffee lovers will undoubtedly find it difficult to choose a beverage because, quite frankly, there are just SO many, that it’ll make your head […]

Fox Coffeeshop — vegan, coffee and more

March 30, 2016 Mad Hungry Woman Leave a Comment

I meet with an alumni friend at a little cafe in a part of Long Beach I have never ventured to before. My friend is vegetarian which was why he suggests we meet at this little vegan/ vegetarian spot. Fox Coffeeshop is a little gem nestled in between some dive bars and strange businesses, as well […]

Berlin Bistro is a breath of fresh air

For many years now, I’ve traveled outside of Orange County for added experiences that bring an element of surprise to my increasingly jaded palate. There have been trips overseas, within the continental USA, and right here in southern California. To the north and south are LA and San Diego and LA, so easily accessible to us. […]

New Orleans: Day 1

January 27, 2015 Mad Hungry Woman 9 Comments

It is a full day of traveling as I leave Orange County at 9am and after a stop in Houston, I arrive in New Orleans a little past 4pm. It is my first time in NOLA and I am utterly excited about the next three days. After arriving at the hotel, I swiftly unpack, shower […]

memories are made at San Diego’s Bread & Cie

About Me

This blog is a journal of mostly my eating adventures, but also, other things I'm passionate about, including travel, the arts, and also, necessities to complete my life. Centered predominantly in and around Orange County, CA, some will extend to Los Angeles, San Diego and beyond. I am constantly searching for delicious food to eat and fun things to do, nothing is out of bounds. Sometimes it doesn't end well, but I can definitely say, it will always be an interesting journey.
